Rape is a very difficult subject to deal with in fiction, and the way the show Veronica Mars handles it is problematic at best, so I was really impressed with this story:

While no actual violence takes place in this story, it's still a very chilling look to rapist's mind who observes a potential victim (Veronica) from far. This is a great example of how a story with this sort of subject matter doesn't need to be graphic in order to be dark and disturbing.
