more thoughts on forced seduction and rape culture is a post by
manifesta which deals with the popular forced seduction scenarios and how they relate to rape culture, and it really summarizes why blurred consent is an inherently dangerous thing, and I'm glad to see that danger addressed.
For the record, I don't have problems with people writing non-con/rape stories, whether it's in serious context or kinky (since fictional rape has absolutely nothing to do with real life rape). We're drawn to things we're drawn to and that's cool. It's when rape is called something other than rape when I start having issues. To the point I've seen the term dub-con tossed around for years and still don't understand how it's any different from non-con.
