STXI:

1. The first character I first fell in love with: Kirk. Main characters are usually what make the story for me and Kirk definitely did.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Spock. I was skeptical about Zachary Quinto's ability to pull him off without mimicking his character on Heroes, but he ended up winning me over and so did Spock.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: I like everybody, but I'm not as crazy about Chekov as most of the fandom seems to be.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: This may depend on what side of fandom you're on, but I've seen a lot of hatred for Uhura and that makes me mad.
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Nobody. Love them all.
6. The character I would shag anytime: Uhura. Maybe Kirk too, but mostly Uhura. <3
7. The character I'd want to be like: Uhura here too. Smart, competent, stands her ground, cares for her people, what's not to admire?
8. The character I'd slap: Kirk's stepdad. >:(
9. A pairing that I love: Spock/Uhura.
10. A pairing that I despise: None, but I have to say I have zero interest in Kirk/Spock as anything other as friends. Spock/Uhura and Kirk/McCoy all the way, baby!
11. Favorite character: Kirk.
12. My five favorite characters: Kirk, Spock, Uhura, McCoy, and I have idea who to pick up as the fifth. Sulu maybe? Sulu it is!
13. My five least favorite characters: None.
14. Which character I am most like: I share some crankiness in common with McCoy?
15. My deep, dark fandom secret: It's like I'm copying your answers, but I hate the über-uke!Chekov too! Fandom's fetish for making cute characters extremely child-like icks the living hell out of me. That aside, I actually kinda approve that fandom has embraced Gaila so hard. Yes, green, sex-positive girls can have stories to tell! It's cool.

Then the Marvel:

1. The first character I first fell in love with: I started out with the X-Men, and as an angsty teen I was naturally drawn to Rogue's sass and drama. Still am actually, and I HAVE NO REGRETS.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Taskmaster. The only reason I even found out he existed was because I happened to run into a post at scans_daily and here I am, wishing there was more of the guy.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Remy. I don't get all the obsession with him and the dysfunction between him and Rogue isn't appealing to me at all.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: I know hating Wolverine is trendy these days, but I think that under all that over-exposure and the extreme stuff and the exaggeration there is still a perfectly decent character. If only there was no over-exposure and the extreme stuff and the exaggeration..
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Peter Parker. I liked him because he was the normal guy with a hero inside, not because he was a sleazy, irresponsible jerk.
6. The character I would shag anytime: Does the entire Agent X team count? Fine, Outlaw. Why is she so damn hot?
7. The character I'd want to be like: Mary Jane. The isle of sanity in the Marvel World, she is.
8. The character I'd slap: Peter, you jerk. *smack smack*
9. A pairing that I love: Magneto/Xavier. OLD MAN OTP FOREVER.
10. A pairing that I despise: Remy/Rogue.
11. Favorite character: I have to say, still Rogue. Yes, the angst is so overdone and Remy/Rogue is frustrating and the writers could have got her powers in line years ago and the angst is still overdone, but I still love her! I CAN HEAR YOU JUDGING ME
12. My five favorite characters: Rogue, Doctor Doom (MY TASTES ARE WEIRD, OKAY), Taskmaster, Magneto, Storm.
13. My five least favorite characters: Remy, Venom, Bullseye (I get that he can be interesting, but I mostly don't care), Hank Pym, post-Civil War Tony Stark.
14. Which character I am most like: Meggan from Excalibur is probably the closest match.
15. My deep, dark fandom secret: I have this very shameful thing for Doom-slash. Doom/RIIIIIICHAAAAAAAARDS, Doom/Namor, Doom/Loki, bring it all the fuck on.

FFVII

FFVII it is! Some of these are going to surprise you, so watch out!

1. The first character I first fell in love with: Aerith. It actually took me a while to really warm up to the game and it was after Aerith officially met Cloud for the first time when I really started getting interested in things, and the rest is history.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Cloud and Tifa are going to have to share this one. To continue from the first part I was totally neutral about Cloud first, and when he started growing on me he did so without me even fully realizing it, but when I did there was no turning back. I also used to have some extreme issues with Tifa because I could identify with her way more than I wanted to (hey, dislike isn't rational), but then I grew up and now I have hard time believing I ever hated her.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: I like the Turks well enough, but I guess in the end I prefer the eco terrorist team with the unbalanced guy in the lead.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: Hojo. Yes, he's despicable, but he's also an excellent villain and if all Sephiroth ever needed was a hug then maybe Hojo wasn't always a monster either.
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: I liked Zack back when he had five minutes of canon time and I still do, but I loathe 99 % of fanon interpretations of him. And I still need to find out how Crisis Core Zack works for me.
6. The character I would shag anytime: Cloud, as dorky as it would probably be. ("Does this go here?") Alternatively also Tifa. ("Does this go here?")
7. The character I'd want to be like: Cloud. I mean, I wouldn't want any of his several and severe issues, but the way he doesn't cease to exist under the crap tossed at him is certainly admirable.
8. The character I'd slap: All of them deserve at least one slap, but one for Gast and a firm "what the fuck are you doing?" could have prevented a lot of things.
9. A pairing that I love: Aerith/Tifa. Alternatively any combination of Cloud, Barret and Tifa.
10. A pairing that I despise: Cloud/Sephiroth. I despise it from the bottom of my soul.
11. Favorite character: Cloud. (SURPRISE!)
12. My five favorite characters: Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Reeve, Aerith.
13. My five least favorite characters: President Shinra, Don Corneo, Gast, Palmer, Heidegger. Though I don't dislike-dislike the last two, I just don't give that much of a damn.
14. Which character I am most like: Tifa. Hence my issues with her back in the day; some things about her just hit way too close to home.
15. My deep, dark fandom secret: I hate Sephiroth/Cloud/Zack/Aerith-OT4? No, not a secret. I think the Vincent/Lucrecia/Hojo-triangle is the more complex and interesting triangle in the game? Yep, that sounds like a secret.
