In which I reveal the extent of my most major procrastination method. Taken from many places.
Name a TV show series in which you have seen every episode at least twice:
Finland loves to rerun Frasier to the end of time, and since I love Frasier this is a very convenient thing for me. Otherwise I'm not much of a re-watcher except for individual seasons/episodes, though I've watched all of Angel at least twice.
Name a (current) show you can't miss:
Mad Men, House, Lost when it comes back. With others I can wait for a little while to see an episode.
Name an actor that would make you more inclined to watch a show:
Kristen Bell, anybody from Oz (Eamonn Walker especially) and Angel/BtVS (hence me following Eliza Dushku everywhere, even if she's so very average), Ian McShane.
Name an actor who would make you less likely to watch a show:
Well, the usual wank fan bait actors may make me more wary of the show, but I never tried Moonlight because I just wasn't up for watching Jason Dohring and his angst eyes again.
Name a show you can, and do, quote from:
My quote memory is horrid, so I usually remember not-quite-correct versions of a quote or parts of a longer speech. Like Swearengen's "Life ends when you're dead"-line from Deadwood; I remember the gist of the rest of the speech, but that's the only part I can quote from memory.
Name a show you like that no one else enjoys:
Birds of Prey, the TV version. I know, I know, injustice to the comics and all, but I loved it! It had women being awesome and having relationships with each other and the men weren't so awful either! Maybe not the best show ever but it was just as deserving of living as Smallville was.
Name a TV show which you've been known to sing the theme song:
Roswell. When you're resting here with meeeeeeeeeeee-!
Name a show you would recommend everyone to watch:
Deadwood! Farscape! Sarah Connor Chronicles! First season of Veronica Mars!
Name a TV series you own:
Buffy, Oz, Deadwood, Rome, Profit.
What is your favourite episode of your favourite series?
"Once More With Feeling" from Buffy, both parts of Into The Lion's Den from Farscape, Broken from House, Trip to the Dentist from Veronica Mars.
A show you mean to watch, but you just haven't gotten around to yet:
Being Human, Psych, Criminal Minds, original Star Trek.
Ever quit watching a show because it was so bad?
Maybe Veronica Mars S3 wasn't that bad, but it was so far away from awesomeness of S1 that I quit watching in the halfway of the season. From what I've heard it was a worth-while decision.
Name a show you aren't interested in watching, not in the least:
I watched all Nine-episodes of Doctor Who and the first Ten-episode and just never got around to it again, and after seeing how fandom is like I have no desire to either. Torchwood for the same reasons and even more.
Name a show that's made you cry multiple times:
I tend to cry over individual moments (and sad music) so none especially, except The Animals Of Farthing Wood from childhood shows. Whoever thought that was a proper show for children must have been on drugs.
Oldest TV show you like?
I Love Lucy.
Newest TV show you like?
The Vampire Diaries. It should be the cheesiest thing ever, but somehow it actually isn't!
What do you eat when you watch TV?
Random snacks?
How often do you watch TV?
Too often.
Do you have a favorite talk show?
I check out Conan O'Brien from time to time, but none really.
What's the last TV show you watched?
The latest Fringe-episode.
What's your favourite/preferred genre of TV?
I like shows with supernatural/science fiction themes, but I wouldn't say it's an absolute favorite.
What's your least favourite genre of TV?
Again none really, though I don't specifically seek out comedies.
hat was the first TV show you were obsessed with?
Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds back when I was kid. In fact, that show is probably the reason why I'm into fanfiction in the first place; they cut off the original show in the middle of the season, leaving the little me to go all NO IT CAN'T END LIKE THIS!!!!1!!one and solve everything by myself in my head.
What TV show do you wish you never watched?
I don't wish I could unwatch anything, but Veronica Mars would have been better off if it had wrapped up after S1 and Supernatural after S2. I should say Heroes after S1, but S2-S3 had Elle and S4 has Claire/Gretchen.
What's the weirdest show you enjoyed?
Twin Peaks, that strange and creepy little thing. Also Big Train and The League of Gentlemen, two very bizarre British comedies.
What TV show scared you the most?
Carnivale had some excellent creepy imagery and horrifying moments. I also found some parts of S1 Lost much creepier than anything in Supernatural ever.
What is the funniest TV show you have ever watched?
Golden Girls. I loved it to death as a kid and when I watched it again as an adult I still loved it to death. It's amazing how it isn't outdated at all.
Which do you think is the best TV series ever made?
Deadwood. So consistently high-quality, so horribly axed before its time.
