First: If you've been tagged, you must write your answers in your own LJ and replace any question that you dislike with a new question.

Second: Tag eight people. Don't refuse to do that. Don't tag who tagged you Don't tell me what to do, meme! The rest of you may take it if you want to.

Lots of pillows or just one?
Just one! My neck and ears are weird enough that even one pillow is too much work, let alone two or more.

What kind of books do you read?
Non-fiction (history of any kind mostly, but also psychology), historial fiction (goes with the non-fiction history), horror, science fiction, fantasy, classics. Right now I'm reading Sylvia Plath's The Bell Jar, when my attention span allows me to.

What's the weirdest thing you've seen today?
Hooked On A Feeling: Literal Video Version. Warning: Features David Hasselhoff.

ZOMBIES OR ROBOTS: Which apocalypse is scarier?
Both terrify me for the same reason (as in neither won't empathize with me at all), but while the robot apocalypse would mean a wider variety of destinies, the idea of zombification is nevertheless more upsetting to me. So, zombies!

What's really creepy but maybe shouldn't be?
Well, I guess Ring/Ringu-movies are supposed to be scary, but probably not to the point where white clothes + dark hair that preferably falls over face + these two things belonging to a woman count as an automatic freak-out.

What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
Writing original femslash. 750 Words, you have done wonders to me!

Cake or cookies?
Cake due to being less likely to get stuck in my teeth.

What's the last website you visited?
[ profile] au_bingo

What was the last thing you bought?
Chicken soup to survive the next week with.

How do you think you'll die?
Considering the problems it's been giving me lately, I have a feeling I will be done in by a stress stomach eventually.

Do you get cravings? If so, what do you crave?
From time to time, and when I do that's when anything sweet and high on carbs goes.

What do you do to change your mood?
Go after emotional reactions, which usually means I end up pushing indifference to full-blown depression. I believe this is what we call "doing it wrong".

What was the last meal you ate?
Some tatar bread with cheese, along with a few snack carrots. (Seriously, it's actually sold as a product. Snack carrot!)

Do you want to learn another language?
It'd be nice, but since my German is extremely rusty and Swedish is just sad I should focus on those two things.

Five things near you right now:
1) My cellphone.
2) A roll of thread.
3) Cooking book for students. (Intended as personal economy friendly, so why aren't I making use of it?)
4) Floss.
5) A glass of gin long drink, if I translated "lonkero" right.

Find the closest book currently sitting near you and flip to page 24. What is the first sentence of the second paragraph?
"Pour the oil out of the tuna."

What's the last thing you said out loud?
"FUCK" (upon hitting my little toe)

Writer, which part of the writing would you rather skip? (my question!)
Figuring everything out part! Okay, making up the title part actually. I'm horrible with titles.

And continuing the 30 days meme:

Day 02 - A show that you wish more people were watching

In Plain Sight! I only got into this show recently myself, and while I guess you could call it your typical crime drama it actually isn't that. It has an awesome cranky female lead (portrayed by no longer 20-something but still scorching hot Mary McCormack!), sensitive and philosophical male lead, an overall awesome gallery of characters, lots of Bechdel Test-passing, both quirky humor and emotionally believable drama.. just overall fun and entertaining, and deserving of so many more fans.

We have snack carrots here too, except they're not exactly called that.

I'd rather skip the title too. I'm terrible with titles, and often end up sticking some nearly random word on there which is probably also the title of a thousand other fics.

I really should watch In Plain Sight. I've had it on at work, but unfortunately I was unable to really sit and watch a whole episode that way.

Ha, so they're not such an oddity after all! Just the first time I run into some so they amused me.

I seem to do either random word titles or pretentious titles, and if I end up on the middle road it's usually the bland side of it. But if I could just number them or something I would.

Work of course makes it hard to watch certain things, but should you find a moment for it I really recommend it. Actual crime side (or rather witness protection side) of the show is usually low profile, which I actually like, but it has heart to make up for possible lack of action.

Eh, as long as I care about the characters the action can definitely take second place.

I hear you about the titles. Not that I write fics much anyway, but I always leave that part for last and spent hours agonizing over it, lol. And I always end up employing the SV method with the one-word thing. :)

Ooh! That's a really great TV rec! I looked it up and considering Justified, this also might be a show that I could get into.
