There is this massive unpleasant thing going on in Supernatural-fandom which includes assholes trying to force people to sexual situations they're uncomfortable with and people defending these assholes. At linkspam, there is compilation about posts dealing with LGBT issues and slash fandom. Short summary of the theme: Liking slash does not equal understanding LGBT issues.

There is also this post about a trans woman who is in a coma, and whose family is reversing her transition. Family she trusted to love her. Her family chose to betray her and it's fucking horrifying.
