...sigh. The more I see of this shit the less I'm inclined to /ever/ get back into FF fandom. I don't remember seeing all this wank when I was modding the FF-Yaoi mailing list (they came up w/ plenty of wank by themselves, but not racefail as far as I remember).

Yeah, I've noticed the best way to stay sane in FF fandom is to stick to the sidelines or stay away entirely. I don't remember ever seeing wank like this in pre-LJ fandom either, which I think was because fannish circles were much smaller. LJ is huge and accessible to all, so morons have easier time getting their crap heard.
