Vid Recs: Goodbye Moon and Halloween
Halloween has passed, but I don't care. Here are two creepy Heroes-vids.

Ensemble. Most shows these days seem to be all about dysfunction, and Heroes has it a little more than others. Parent-child relationships take the dysfunction cake both in the show and in this vid, which is part of the reason why it's so creepy; these people just aren't okay, and the dysfunction of their lives is underlined further by the show's often horrific visuals. I was really impressed with the way the vidder brought all the characters together, the way they reflect each other, which isn't always an easy thing to do in the show itself. The song used for the vid is fantastic, too, with the creepy lyrics and vocals.

Sylar-centric. Sylar is my choice of character I love to hate in Heroes, and this vid is all about the reason why: Although Heroes has a shape-shifter character of its own, Sylar seems to be the true chameleon of this show, slipping into other people's skins and their lives, which is one of the reasons why he's such an effective villain. He has had disappointingly little to do so far in the second season, but this vid shows why I appreciate him as a character, even if I hoped that he would just kick the bucket.
Silly ETA: So I did the obligatory "Which character are you test?", and for the first time in ever, I actually scored as my favorite character.
